Tick Tock, Your Body Is On A Clock

Your body is on a clock. Many of you may think that you set the time for your body, however Sleep is regulated by an internal clock , which is tuned by the day–night cycles (circadian rhythm). When the sun sets, your brain starts to release ‘sleepy’ chemicals, until eventually you feel the need to retire for the night. In the morning, exposure to daylight prompts your brain to release ‘awake’ chemicals. Didn't you feel that there were many reasons to why you body reacts the way it does when the time changes. For example the time of day that you perform certain tasks depends whether or not the performance is used by the body. Such as taking medication, your body works on its own times so you may thing that the medicine is working right then and there when it is not. Even when you go to the doctor the test that are given there can differentiate the results such as on urine tests. Interestly, the body clock can determine whether or not you are a morning or night person. Ever wonder why the author of ythese blogs is so grumpy in the morning it is because my body clock is set for the night time. I am not a moring person. Find the time your body clock is set on and see whether or not you are made for that time of day or even is there a reason why you act the way you do that time of day. http://sleepdisorders.about.com/od/gettingtosleep/fr/bodyclock.htm
